About John
John Richert, RPL, is the CEO of Baseline Minerals. Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, John now resides in Oklahoma City. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Managerial Economics.
John has been in the industry for 13 years, beginning his career in 2011 acquiring leases across multiple basins. He managed numerous acquisition projects for a brokerage specializing in private equity, with transactions totaling over $500 million. Baseline Minerals, under his leadership, initially focused on acquiring non-operated leasehold and buying mineral rights in Oklahoma and Texas, and has since expanded into multiple basins.
Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his wife, Lauren, and their children, Rhett and Ryan. He is also passionate about golf and attending OU and Thunder games.”
