Sutton Simon has been a dedicated professional at Baseline since March 2023, bringing with him nearly a decade of experience in the industry, having started in 2014. Originally from Weatherford, Oklahoma, Sutton is a proud graduate of Weatherford High School and the University of Oklahoma. He now calls Brooklyn, NY, home, where he lives with his wife, Taylor.
Sutton finds great satisfaction in his work, especially in building long-term relationships with mineral owners and working alongside colleagues who make every day enjoyable. Outside of work, Sutton is a college basketball referee, a role that has him spending about 20% of his time working from hotels.
When it comes to favorites, Sutton is a steak enthusiast, and his top picks for entertainment include the TV show “Ted Lasso” and documentaries on organized crime. He enjoys traveling, boxing, and stand-up comedy in his free time. A passionate supporter of OU athletics and the Oklahoma City Thunder, Sutton humorously admits he also cheers for “the refs.” While he appreciates both cats and dogs, he prefers they stay with their owners at the end of the day.
